WHAT IS A CSA?
Community-supported agriculture (CSA) is a subscription service where members receive a share of the farm’s harvest for a specific number of weeks during the growing season. Members purchase shares in advance, typically during the off-season (winter), and receive their share on a set schedule during the growing season (summer). CSA members of Slow Living Flowers receive weekly/biweekly flower bouquets. By investing early in the farm, you are supporting the costs of seeds, bulbs, corms, compost and other necessities for the season ahead. As a thank you, CSA bouquets are considered a priority in the field. In other words, members receive the best of the best blooms and ingredients grown exclusively for CSA.

We are honored to grow for you and bring you a variety of flowers throughout the season. As a small-scale farm, we are committed to using regenerative growing practices. Regenerative farming is a holistic approach to agriculture, often going beyond organic standards to restore soil and ecosystem health for future generations. We work mindfully to ensure a successful season and a bountiful harvest.
While we have spent many years perfecting our growing plans, we are simply at the will of Mother Nature. Our intention is to have a smooth season with a consistent production of flowers. Due to circumstances outside of our control, bouquet sizes may vary. By signing up for a CSA, you are agreeing to accept the outcomes of the season and share in both the benefits and the risks of floriculture.
When you purchase your share, you will select the pickup location most convenient for you. You are responsible for picking up your share at this location on the specified date and time. If you are unable to pick up your share, we encourage you to offer it to a friend or family member. If you have an emergency, you may email up to 24 hours in advance to request special accommodations. If you fail to pick up your share, you are forfeiting your share for the week, and it will be donated.
At this time, all communication regarding CSA shares will be sent via email. In general, we find email to be the quickest, most reliable way to reach us. If you have any further questions or concerns, please email hello@slowlivingflowers.com.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
All payments are due in full at the time of sign-up. Once you have signed up and paid in full, your spot will be secured as a member of our CSA for the 2025 season. We will not provide any refunds, and your share cannot be cancelled. If you are moving or have another reason to cancel, we encourage you to offer your share to a friend or family member. Otherwise, your share will be donated.
